Happy healthy holidays

ricepaperrolls“I’m hungry!” Those are the two words parents are guaranteed to hear on repeat in the school holidays.

Now’s the time to stock up the fridge and pantry, and there’s no better place to grab your supplies than the farmers markets.

Avoid the processed supermarket snacks and pick up some fresh, healthy and tasty foods to fill their little bellies.

Top up the fruit bowl with fresh local fruit, and your crisper with quick and easy veggie snacks like sprouts, carrots, beans, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and capsicum, plus fresh dips

Grab some fresh sourdough bread for an easy lunch – fill with salad and free range boiled eggs or some local cheese. Take home some fresh fruit buns from Heart Breads, home made quiches from Witches Broomstick or some samosas for an easy afternoon snack.

We have free arts and crafts activities for the kids throughout the holidays, so come and enjoy the fresh air, fresh food and community feel.
