Healthy school lunches

ricepaperrollsNow’s the time to stock up the fridge and pantry, with everything you need for those school lunches, and there’s no better place to grab your supplies than the farmers markets.

Avoid the processed supermarket snacks and pick up some fresh, healthy and tasty foods to fill their little bellies.

Grab some fresh local fruit, and fill lunchboxes with quick and easy veggie snacks like sprouts, carrots, beans, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and capsicum, plus fresh dips

Grab some fresh sourdough bread for an easy lunch – fill with salad and free range boiled eggs or some local cheese. Take home some fresh fruit buns from Heart Breads, or some samosas from Home Comfort soul Foods for an easy after school snack.
